Showing Championship Show in October for Riding Club members - It is being organised by a very experienced HOYS Judge/Competitor (and her Team) and her plans are to give Riding Club Members the opportunity at competing at their own Championship Show, that will be the equivalent of the Horse of the Year Show experience - she has gained thousand of pounds worth of sponsorship and is planning to give the riders the most amazing time - there will be rugs and sashes to winners, rosettes for everyone etc, etc and an amazing HOYS Championship gala atmosphere and experience will be guaranteed - we are one of the Clubs that have been lucky enough to affiliate to this Show (as places were limited), thanks to the interest of our members.

The dates are 20th & 21st October, and the Venue is Aintree Equestrian centre, Aintree Racecourse - there will be stabling on site at a reduced price and full use of the facilities that the racehorses get.

I NOW NEED SOME INFO FROM YOU - I have attached in this post the classes that will be on offer at the Championship Show - what I need from you is; - if you would like to be part of this exciting new opportunity I need to know that you are and if so, what classes you would be wanting to take part in.

Once I have this information, I will set some dates to hold training clinics and also some shows - As a RC we have been requested to run at least 3 shows, in which you will gain points in the classes you compete in, then the Champion of each section will Qualify for the Championships, should the Champion of each section not be able to attend the Championships, the place will be offered to the Reserve Champion and so on.

Could you please now let me know, by return, which classes you would like to compete in, so I can crack on with the necessary planning.

Should you have any friends who are interested in showing please let them know about this very exciting opportunity, they are welcome to join our Club to take part.

I cannot wait to hear from you, we are so lucky to be given this opportunity, so don’t miss out!

Does anyone fancy trying team of 4 dressage? There's no qualification round you perfect the art and compete at Lincoln. Even if we don't wish to compete it's great fun and really makes you and your horse concentrate :) every team must have a caller so we'd need 5 people. We can have a get together and arrange some training and, as ever, Helen and I are up for it so come and join us Junior and Seniors welcome X  Contact Lezley 007891660317 asap
